Effects of the Traditional Mediterranean Diet in Patients with Otitis Media with Effusion

Introduction: Otitis media with effusion (OME) is common in pediatric primary care consultations. Its etiology multifactorial, although it has been proven that inflammation factors mediate and immunity a phase of relative immaturity. The objective this study was to assess the effects Traditional Mediterranean Diet (TMD) modulating patients diagnosed OME. Materials Methods: A analysis as single-group pre-test/post-test conducted on 40 girls boys between 18 months 5 years old. Tympanometry normalization main test control benefit diet. Clinical therapeutic variables were studied through evaluation questionnaires, quality diet, well various anthropometric parameters.
